Product description

Nourish your skin from the inside

Collagen and MSM in liquid: Collagen shot is a concentrated food supplement with collagen. It contains 5000 mg of hydrolyzed fish collagen, 1500 mg of MSM, and vitamin C.

Vitamin C + collagen + MSM = the perfect combination?

When we formulated the recipe for Collagen Shot, I had three requirements. The product must contain fish collagen with a broad spectrum of peptide molecule sizes, MSM, and vitamin C. Why? Because the combination of these three active ingredients perfectly complements the action of each active ingredient.

We have also enriched the formula with hyaluronic acid, biotin, vitamin B6 and zinc. Hyaluronic acid fills the space between collagen fibers, keeping your skin and joints moisturized. Biotin ensures strong hair and nails, while zinc helps maintain healthy hair, nails, and skin and protects cells from oxidative stress.

The active ingredients benefit your skin and provide complete care for the body from the inside, a youthful appearance, beautiful hair, strong nails, and flexible joints.

Collagen shot liquid has a pomegranate flavor and is free from sugars and fats.

Whom is collagen shot for?

Anyone can take a Collagen shot over the age of 20 because this is when the body's collagen production starts to decline. According to data, the body is expected to produce 1.5% less collagen each year after age 20. Even teenagers who struggle with acne-prone skin swear by it.

Collagen shot - more than just a beauty supplement

Although collagen is known as a ''beauty'' food supplement, it is much more. The collagen shot contains fish collagen with a wide range of peptide molecule sizes, allowing excellent collagen absorption where the body needs it most.

The body loses certain nutrients in the natural aging process. However, regular intake of collagen and other active ingredients provides more elastic skin, shiny, strong hair and faster hair growth, stronger nails, stronger joints, balanced digestion, and improved well-being.

Collagen shot - clinically proven effects

Until now, we have been able to justify the effectiveness of our collagen based on your opinions, but from now on, we can confirm that the effects of our Collagen Shot are also clinically proven.

An independent institute has conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study. 107 women aged between 40 and 65 years participated in the clinical study. The study aimed to investigate the efficacy of our product in stimulating the synthesis of collagen and elastin fibers in the dermal layer of the skin.

After 12 weeks of consuming a formulation containing 5,000 mg of collagen peptides, 1,500 MSM, and vitamin C, the results showed:

  • 20% improvement in dermis density
    3.6% improvement in dermis thickness
32 % improvement in skin hydration
12 % improvement in skin texture
14% reduction in wrinkle depth and 12% reduction in wrinkle volume

Ingredients

HYDROLYZED MARINE COLLAGEN – Collagen is an integral part of the skin, hair, nails, and articular cartilage. As the amount of collagen production in the body slows down after 20, consuming hydrolyzed collagen can help maintain a youthful skin appearance and increase hair growth with lots of beneficial effects on nail condition and joint mobility. Taking collagen leads to an increase in the production of natural collagen in the body, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles.

MSM | methylsulfonylmethane - MSM helps your body produce its own collagen and keratin, which are essential ingredients in hair, nails, and skin. The MSM molecule is organic sulfur for the body, required to synthesize some essential amino acids, such as cysteine. It is recommended to take MSM with vitamin C for better utilization.

HYALURONIC ACID – No other biological substance can bind as much water as hyaluronic acid, which means it is an excellent moisturizing agent, resulting in smoother, softer skin and fewer wrinkles.

VITAMIN C – Normal skin contains high vitamin C concentrations, which stimulates collagen synthesis and assists in antioxidant protection against UV-induced photodamage. Without adequate amounts of vitamin C, the body can't form or store collagen.

BIOTIN – Contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and hair.

ZINC – Contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair, and nails.

VITAMIN B6 – Contributes to normal cysteine synthesis.

Purpose: It benefits the appearance of skin, hair, nails, and joint mobility.
Packaging: 500 ml bottle with dosage cap included. Sufficient for 20 days of regular use.
Recommended daily amount: 25 ml.

How to use Collagen Shot?

Instructions for use: Measure the recommended daily amount with the cap and consume. Collagen shot has a sweet-bitter taste, so if it does not suit you, you can mix it with your favorite drink. For best absorption, take a Collagen shot on an empty stomach. Also, ensure you shake well before use for better results.

What is collagen?

Collagen is not some ''new marketing gimmick'' that turns money, as you may hear or read in many places. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body. This complex protein is made up of as many as 19 different amino acids that have an essential impact on our bodies.

You have probably seen the flood of dietary supplements with collagen. Indeed, collagen supplements have become one of the most sought-after supplements in recent times. A little bit of a joke, a little bit of truth - collagen supplements are growing like mushrooms after the rain. And why is that? Is all the hype around collagen justified?

We can confirm that it is. Now you're probably wondering why.

Collagen is the most abundant protein in our body, accounting for between 25 and 30% of all proteins in the body. That's as much as a third of the body's composition. It is found in cartilage, skin, teeth, nails, muscle tendons, the walls of the body's organs, and hair.

Collagen acts as the ''glue'' that holds our bodies together

Collagen plays a significant role in the body, helping organs to develop, wounds and tissues to heal, and corneas, gums, and scalp to repair. Collagen can be said to act as the ''glue'' that holds our bodies together, as it is responsible for the stability and strength of the body's tissues.

Young skin is made up of 80% type I collagen and about 15% type III collagen. With aging, the ability to synthesize collagen decreases, and collagen fibrils become thicker and shorter.

As a consequence, the density of collagen and elastin in the dermis decreases, which also leads to a deterioration of the skin's structure and elasticity. The skin can no longer maintain its shape and is no longer able to fit the face as 'tightly' and becomes looser, and wrinkles start to appear.

A lack of collagen also has a severe effect on the joints. The flexibility of the joints and bones depends, to a large extent, on the presence of collagen. To put it in caricature, collagen is to our joints, ligaments, and cartilage, as WD-40 is to the chain on your bicycle. If it is not "lubricated," you will struggle to get your bike from point A to point B. A lack of collagen in the connective-cartilage parts of the body can cause several problems that start to make movement difficult.

Types of collagen and their role

There are 16 types of collagen, and 80-90% of the collagen in the body is made up of types I, II, and III.

Type 1: Type I collagen is present in the skin, hair, nails, organs, bones, and ligaments in 75-90%. When it comes to the beauty effects on the skin, this type of collagen is the most important and the best. Many dermatological studies have shown visible results on the skin when the amount of type I in the body is increased.

Type 2: Type II collagen is mainly present in the fluid located between the cartilages in the joints. This type of collagen is useful to consume when joint pain and osteoarthritis are present but is also a good source of protein. This type represents about 10% of all the collagen in our body.

Type 3: Type III collagen is the second most abundant collagen in tissues. It is found mainly in tissues with elastic properties such as skin, lungs, intestinal walls, and blood vessel walls, but it is also found in bone, cartilage, tendons, and other connective tissues.

What are the signs of collagen deficiency?

Do you know when we start to age? After the age of 25. That's also when the body's collagen production starts to decline. According to data, the body is expected to produce 1.5% LESS collagen each year after the age of 25.

Signs of collagen deficiency:

  • poor musculoskeletal function
  • wrinkles, cellulite, dry skin
  • brittle and brittle nails
  • lack of shine in hair and skin

What damages collagen?

Unfortunately, we cannot slow down aging, but we can limit the action of other factors that accelerate the decline of collagen in the body.

  • UV light - accelerates the formation of wrinkles due to the breakdown of collagen in the dermis
  • Diet rich in simple sugars - sugar intensely interferes with the ability of collagen to renew itself
  • Smoking - affects the collagen production
  • Insufficient sleep and stress
  • autoimmune diseases (lupus)
  • genetics

Avoiding overexposure to the sun, using SPF cream, and eating a healthy diet, therefore, helps to reduce the visual signs of aging due to slower collagen loss.

Is collagen effective?

Yes. It has been proven that taking collagen supplements can rebuild damaged collagen fibers and stimulate your body to make more of its collagen.

Many studies have investigated the effectiveness of collagen peptides and found that they can:

  • stimulate fibroblast proliferation and motility
  • increase the synthesis of hyaluronic acid (one of the most important moisturizing ingredients)
  • activate protection against free radicals that cause photo-aging
  • stimulates the density of collagen fibrils, which is key to maintaining skin firmness

What are the benefits of using collagen?

  •  Collagen keeps your nails strong and restores shine to your hair
  • Collagen affects the joints
  • Firms the skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles
  • Improves digestion
  • Accelerates muscle regeneration

Frequently asked questions about collagen

What is hydrolyzed collagen?

Collagen Shot contains hydrolyzed collagen. This means that the process used to make Collagen Shot involves a hydrolysis process where collagen is broken down into smaller building blocks called peptides.

Peptides are more easily broken down in the digestive tract into their basic building blocks - amino acids - and are consequently more easily absorbed. Learn more about the shapes or names of collagen fibers.

Is Collagen Shot also collagen for men?

Collagen shot is intended for anyone over the age of 20, so it is collagen for men and collagen for women. You may be wondering why men should take collagen. Because collagen is not just a beauty supplement, it is much more than that. Collagen for men also brings a whole range of health benefits to the body that can be helpful for both men and women. In addition to its effects on the skin, studies show that it also has positive effects on hair, joint mobility, muscle regeneration, and healthy digestion.

Why is biotin added to Collagen Shot?

You could say that collagen and biotin are the perfect combination. Biotin is a vitamin that helps to maintain healthy hair, skin, and mucous membranes. It is often referred to as the beauty mineral. Although biotin deficiency is rare, it can occur and cause hair loss. The combination of collagen, biotin, vitamin C, MSM, and other active ingredients ensures more elastic skin, strong and shiny hair, and strong nails.

When can I expect the first results?

When the effects of the Collagen Shot start to appear depends on several factors, most importantly your age, lifestyle (stress, smoking, alcohol, prolonged exposure to the sun), and diet. The sooner you start replacing lost collagen and its building blocks, the sooner you will see results and the easier it will be to maintain the current condition of your skin, hair, and nails. Most users report that the effects of a Collagen Shot appear after the first bottle. You will most likely notice the changes first on your nails and fresher facial skin.

Why take a Collagen Shot when I get all the ingredients from food?

When the body produces less collagen at a certain age, it is very important to start eating foods that contain more antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and proteins. However, it is also advisable to replace collagen with food supplements, as the absorption of hydrolyzed collagen in the form of food supplements is 90%, while the absorption of collagen from food is about 27%.

Why is vitamin C added to the Collagen Shot?

Vitamin C is added to the supplement to improve the absorption of collagen in the body. Very quickly after a meal (after about half an hour) rich in vitamin C, six times more collagen is produced in the body than otherwise. For the new growth of connective tissue from collagen, vitamin C is indispensable. Without vitamin C and MSM, collagen formation is almost impossible.

Do dietary supplements with collagen also affect nails and hair?

Nails and hair are made up of keratin, which (like collagen) has a supporting function in the body. Collagen and keratin are molecules that are structural proteins. Keratins form the stratum corneum of the epidermis of the skin, while keratin in hair and nails is an appendage/extension of keratins in the epidermis of the skin. Research on the effect of

collagen on hair and nails is indeed lacking, but the fact is that collagen is rich in amino acids, which the body needs to form keratin, which is found in nails and hair. It is safe to say that Collagen Shot, with its combination of ingredients, also has an effect on the strength and growth of the nails and the appearance and accelerated growth of the hair.

When is the best time to take a Collagen shot?

It is best to take Collagen Shot on a fasting diet.

Can I take Collagen Shot while breastfeeding or pregnant?

The consumption of Collagen shot has not been officially tested on pregnant or breastfeeding mothers, so please consult your chosen gynecologist or your baby's pediatrician before use.
